The Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank advises scheduled banks and financial institutions to conduct training on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and financial literacy for university-going youths aged 18-22 under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. The training must cover a specified curriculum over one day with five sessions, targeting a minimum of 120 beneficiaries per year across two batches, with at least 50% female participation. Beneficiaries are to be selected through nomination letters from the Deans of various faculties or Directors of institutes at universities approved by the University Grants Commission. Expenses for this initiative must be reported under the Education sub-sector of the Social Project category in the GBCSRD reporting form.
