The Sustainable Finance Department replaces Article 04 of Circular No. 03/2014, limiting relending for the Brick Kiln Efficiency Improvement Project to a maximum of 50% of the estimated project cost, with banks and financial institutions required to contribute at least 20% and entrepreneurs at least 30%. The directive mandates that these funds be disbursed on a first-come-first-served basis and requires the substitution of the term 're-authorization' with 'relending' in all prior circulars and participation agreements. This instruction is effective immediately for all scheduled banks and financial institutions operating in Bangladesh.
