SFD Circular Letter No. 02: Sustainable Finance Reporting Format
The document instructs scheduled banks and financial institutions in Bangladesh to submit monthly sustainable finance reports using a newly attached reporting format. This requirement applies to activities involving the Environment Conservation Rules 2023, the Green Credit Policy 2022-2041, and related matters, as outlined in SFD Circular No. 03 dated October 22, 2023. Institutions are directed to file these reports with the department by the last working day of the following month, effective immediately under the powers granted by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, and Section 18(c) of the Financial Institutions Act, 1993.
