Ladies and Gentlemen:
Effective immediately, cash deposits of United States dollars (USD) made by financial entities at the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) must comply with the following characteristics in accordance with the standards established by the Federal Reserve of the United States:
For banknotes
For bands
For packages
Before sending USD in cash to the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States, the Treasury Sub-Management of the Central Bank of Bolivia, together with a representative of each financial entity, will proceed as follows:
For packages:
Subsequently, with the participation of a representative of the BCB's value transport company, the following procedure will be carried out for bagging:
