SIB/2/1994 – Opening of Branches
The National Bank of Ethiopia requires insurance companies to submit an application accompanied by a feasibility study to open a branch office. A branch is defined as any branch office, branch agency, additional office, or place of business where insurance business is solicited. These directives entered into force on November 3, 1994.
