Sindh Letters of Administration and Succession Certificates Act 2021
This Act establishes an efficient mechanism for the issuance of Letters of Administration and Succession Certificates through the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to provide expeditious relief to legal heirs in the Province of Sindh. The legislation mandates a summary inquiry process, including public notification and biometric verification, while barring court jurisdiction unless the Authority declines to process an application or a dispute arises. Certificates issued under this framework carry the same legal effect as those granted under the Succession Act of 1925, with provisions for objections to be addressed by competent courts within thirty days.
