SMEDP-2 Circular Letter No. 01: Regarding the compliance with the guidelines of the master circular issued by SMESPD on March 17, 2025, concerning the refinancing from the revolving fund established under the SMEDP-2 project.

Scheduled banks and financial institutions operating in Bangladesh must report newly defined enterprise categories—specifically 'informal/preliminary enterprises' and 'trading/business' within the 'medium' category—in the online verification system when applying for refinancing from the SMEDP-2 revolving fund. Applicants are required to submit a certificate confirming that the relevant customer institution has not received refinancing benefits from any other fund or through another Project Financing Institution (PFI) besides the SMEDP-2 revolving fund. These requirements apply alongside existing instructions from the September 5, 2024, SMEDP-2 Circular No. 1, which remain unchanged.
