Standing Liquidity Facility for Primary Dealers

The Monetary Policy Committee decided to increase the policy repo rate under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility by 25 basis points, from 5.25 percent to 5.50 percent, with immediate effect. Consequently, the Standing Liquidity Facility, which provides collateralized liquidity support to Primary Dealers from the Reserve Bank, will now be available at the revised repo rate of 5.50 percent, also with immediate effect.
