Status Update on TTSEC's Enforcement Proceedings
The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC) has issued a circular letter to Self-Regulatory Organisations and Registrants providing an update on the status of its enforcement proceedings. The TTSEC Staff is currently conducting a comprehensive review of all enforcement processes and outstanding contraventions to ensure fairness, proportionality, transparency, and consistency with the legislative framework, and to strengthen the overall integrity of the enforcement process. Consequently, the advancement of all ongoing enforcement matters to the Commission Board has been placed on hold until this exercise is completed, after which affected parties will be contacted with updated recommendations and procedural steps.
