Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) for Islami Banks

The Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) for Shariah-based Islami banks and the Islami Banking branches or windows of conventional banks operating in Bangladesh is raised from 10.0 percent to 10.5 percent of their average total time and demand liabilities. This instruction comes into force from May 15, 2010.
