Study Note No. 61: Liquidity and Credit: July 2026

In July 2026, total private sector credit grew by 9.4% year-over-year, driven by increases in both corporate (9.0%) and household (9.9%) lending. Private sector liquidity rose by 1.0% monthly, with a 15.2% annual increase, while the dollarization coefficient for credit reached 22.5%. Bank external liabilities increased by USD 65 million, bringing the ratio of external liabilities to total private sector credit to 12.1%, reflecting reduced external leverage.
