Supreme Decree No. 002-2019-JUS: Regulations of the Law Regulating the Administrative Liability of Legal Entities

Supreme Decree No. 002-2019-JUS approves the regulations for Law No. 30424, establishing the minimum components, standards, and requirements for voluntary prevention models that legal entities may implement to prevent, detect, and mitigate the risk of committing specific crimes such as transnational bribery, money laundering, and terrorism financing. The decree classifies legal entities into four categories (large, medium, small, and micro) based on annual sales in UIT or number of employees, requiring prevention models to be adapted to their specific nature and risk profiles. It mandates that these models adhere to principles including accessibility, adaptability, leadership commitment, and independence, and defines key terms and risk assessment procedures for implementation.
