Unapproved Heritage Health
The Registrar of Medical Aid Funds declares that any contribution increases, benefit limit amendments, or new benefit options implemented by Heritage Health Medical Aid Fund from 1 May 2022, other than those specified in the notice, are unapproved and invalid. Heritage Health is permitted to increase contributions only on 2018-approved structures, with caps of less than 10% for Comprehensive benefit options and less than 6% or 4% for Day-to-day plans. Members and the public are not obligated to pay contribution rates exceeding these stipulated approved increases.
