Updates to the Company Services Providers Act (in light of Act X of 2025)
The Authority introduces a new registration requirement under Article 3A(2) for Limited Company Service Providers, who may hold up to ten involvements, and a notification requirement under Article 3B for Restricted Company Service Providers, limited to five involvements across two groups. Restricted providers must submit their notification form by 16 July 2025, while new registration and notification fees are established via L.N. 89 of 2025. The exemption for VFA Agents is removed, the exemption for directors in regulated entities is widened to include immediate holding companies, and a new Rulebook for Limited Company Service Providers is implemented.
