Use of Electronic Signatures
The Malta Financial Services Authority accepts electronically signed documents only if they utilize a qualified electronic signature as defined under Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS). Persons submitting such documents are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with eIDAS provisions. The Authority reserves the right to independently verify signature validity and may deem submissions invalid and require resubmission if the signature breaches eIDAS or applicable law.
