Users of Benchmarks in terms of the European Benchmarks Regulation
Entities using Benchmarks as defined by the Benchmarks Regulation must ensure they only utilize benchmarks provided by administrators listed in the ESMA Benchmarks Register. The Maltese Financial Services Authority requires these entities to complete a questionnaire to assess benchmark usage, specifically including the use of EU Climate Transition and EU Paris-aligned benchmarks. Responses must be submitted by Friday 20 March 2020, or the entities will be classified as non-users of benchmarks for regulatory purposes.
