Voluntary Guidelines for CSR 2013

The Guidelines bind all companies initiating or intending to initiate corporate social responsibility activities. They encourage boards to endorse a CSR policy, form a Consultative Committee, and allocate quantifiable resources or a profit proportion, preferably 1-2%. Companies are expected to implement systematic management systems, conduct external assurance, and report concise, material information in a separate CSR Report. This reporting may include descriptive and monetary disclosures of activities undertaken during each financial year in line with the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility) Order, 2009.
