Withdrawal of Cases Filed by Customers Before Receiving Policy Support
All scheduled banks in Bangladesh are instructed that before providing any incentive package or policy support declared by the government or Bangladesh Bank, they must ensure that applicants withdraw any pending cases, including writ petitions, previously filed against the government, Bangladesh Bank, or the relevant bank. Applicants must provide an affidavit confirming no unresolved cases and attach a list of withdrawn cases. This directive, issued under Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, is effective immediately.
