Banks and financing companies operating in the Kingdom must handle first-home beneficiary tax certificates. If the residential unit value exceeds 850,000 SAR, financiers must collect additional tax, issue sales invoices for the full value, and register these amounts in tax returns. Sellers must receive the certificate and additional tax, issue invoices, and submit refund requests via the portal with required attachments. If the unit value is 850,000 SAR or less, no additional tax is paid.
