2021 Banking Prudential Requirements
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand published the finalised bank capital adequacy requirements in June 2021 following the conclusion of the 2017 to 2019 Capital Review. These requirements are outlined in the new Banking Prudential Requirements documents. The publication establishes the updated regulatory framework for bank capital adequacy in New Zealand.
