The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued a decision to withdraw from circulation 10, 20, 50, and 100 Convertible Marks banknotes issued between 1998 and 2009. These banknotes will cease to be legal tender on January 1, 2025, after which they may only be exchanged at commercial banks until December 31, 2025. Following this period, the Central Bank will handle exchanges directly at its offices in Sarajevo and Banja Luka for a subsequent ten-year period ending in 2035.
