Notice on Reporting of Suspicious Activities and Incidents of Fraud

Registered insurers must lodge Form F1 with the Monetary Authority of Singapore within five working days of discovering material suspicious activities or fraud incidents affecting their safety, soundness, or reputation. They must also file suspicious transaction reports to the Suspicious Transaction Reporting Office as required by existing notices. For fraud incidents, insurers should lodge a police report and submit a copy to the Authority; if no police report is filed, they must notify the Authority of the reasons. Failure to report requires documenting the reasons for the decision. This Notice takes immediate effect.
