Requirement That Insurance Companies Report Suspicious Transactions
This notice of proposed rulemaking from the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) would amend regulations implementing the Bank Secrecy Act. The proposed amendment requires insurance companies to report suspicious transactions to the Department of the Treasury. Written comments on the proposal must be received on or before December 16, 2002.
