Decision on the partial deletion of EBA guidelines on connected clients
The European Banking Authority partially repeals EBA/GL/2017/15 on connected clients to eliminate redundancy with Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1728. This decision deletes paragraphs 11 to 33, which correspond to Sections 4, 6, and 7 of the original guidelines, as the relevant regulatory technical standards are now directly specified in EU law. The partial repeal enters into force immediately and is reflected in the consolidated text of the guidelines.
