Regulations amending Finansinspektionen’s regulations regarding Swedish UCITS
Finansinspektionen amended its regulations on Swedish UCITS to specify applicable requirements for foreign and Swedish management companies operating across borders or via branches. The amendments clarify which chapters of the regulatory code apply to different operational models, such as those conducted from a Swedish branch versus the home state. Additionally, the regulator introduced a new section mandating that fund management companies submit annual performance reports to Statistics Sweden by May 31.
