Master Circular for Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs)
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) issued this Master Circular on May 15, 2024, to consolidate all applicable provisions for Infrastructure Investment Trusts into a single document effective immediately. The circular supersedes previous circulars while preserving the validity of actions, applications, and liabilities incurred under the earlier regulations. It mandates compliance with consolidated guidelines covering online filing systems, public issue procedures, continuous disclosures, and various operational frameworks for InvITs and their intermediaries.
