2020-10-07 | 178/04The President of the National Bank of Georgia issued Order N178/04 to approve a list of recognized foreign stock exchanges and establish rules for public offerings by issuers admitted to trading on them. The regulation exempts securities already listed on these recognized exchanges, as well as those issued by specific international financial institutions, from mandatory prospectus approval by the National Bank. It mandates a three-day prior written notification to the regulator along with the submission of relevant listing documents and Georgian translations before the public offering commences.
