Regulation on the application of the EBA Recommendation on the use of the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)
The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia issued this regulation to implement the European Banking Authority's Recommendation on the use of the Legal Entity Identifier. The rule mandates that the Bank of Slovenia must fully consider the EBA recommendation when exercising supervisory powers over banks and submitting information to the EBA. This measure aims to harmonize the identification of legal entities and ensure consistent, high-quality supervisory data across the EU.
