Financial Institutions (Complaint Handling) (Repeal) Regulations 2024

The Central Bank of Seychelles, acting in consultation with the finance minister under section 69(a) of the Financial Institutions Act, has enacted the Financial Institutions (Complaint Handling) (Repeal) Regulations 2024. These regulations formally abolish the Financial Institutions (Complaint Handling) Regulations of 2008, eliminating the previous statutory requirements for managing consumer complaints within regulated entities. The repeal takes effect on 1 January 2025, ensuring a seamless regulatory transition for all financial institutions under the Central Bank's jurisdiction.
