PS19/7: Finalising the Directory

The Financial Conduct Authority establishes the Directory, a new public register requiring FCA-regulated firms to submit data on Certified staff, non-Senior Manager Function directors, and qualified sole traders or appointed representatives. The register will publicly display individual names, roles, start and end dates, workplace locations, customer engagement methods, and accredited body memberships. Banking firms and insurers must upload initial data by 9 March 2020, while all other firms must comply by 9 December 2020. Firms are required to update information on joiners, leavers, and changes within seven business days.
