The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision on April 26, 2012, to introduce new 10, 20, 50, and 100 Convertible Mark banknotes featuring a 2012 issue year. These banknotes, available in both Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska versions, are designated as legal tender and must be accepted by all public and private entities throughout the country. The Central Bank began issuing these notes successively starting June 1, 2012, while previously issued banknotes under the 1998 decision remain valid legal tender.
