The French Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) declared its compliance with the Joint EBA and ESMA Guidelines on the assessment of the suitability of members of the management body and key function holders (EBA/GL/2017/12) on May 29, 2018. This compliance declaration, updated on March 10, 2022, applies to the guidelines except for specific paragraphs 162, 171, 172, and 176. The document serves as the official doctrinal reference for the AMF regarding the regulatory framework established by these European guidelines.
