ORDER made by the Minister responsible for finance in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 195 of the Securities Industry Act, 2021 (No.46 of 2021), and all other powers thereunto him enabling. (Gazetted 2nd December, 2023)

1. This Order may be cited as the
   SECURITIES INDUSTRY ACT (COMMENCEMENT OF PROVISIONS) ORDER, 2023.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 195
   of the Securities Industry Act (Act No. 46 of 2021), and all other powers thereunto me enabling, I, JOHN BRICEÑO, Prime Minister and Minister responsible for finance, hereby appoint the 15th day of December, 2023, as the day on which the following provisions of the Securities Industry Act shall come into force– (a) section 33; (b) section 193; and (c) the provisions of Parts IV, V, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV and XVI.
