Guidelines on Sustainable and Responsible Investment Funds
The Securities Commission Malaysia issued these guidelines to establish regulatory requirements for funds seeking qualification as Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) Funds or ASEAN Sustainable and Responsible Funds. The document mandates that qualifying funds incorporate specific sustainability considerations, such as ESG factors or UN Global Compact principles, and maintain a minimum two-thirds asset allocation in aligned investments.
