Additional Measures for the Effective Implementation of the Program for the Construction and Reconstruction of Affordable Multi-Apartment Buildings in Cities for 2017-2020
The decree mandates the construction and reconstruction of 191 multi-apartment buildings totaling 554,800 square meters in Tashkent and other cities to house 7,919 families by the end of the year. It establishes a 15% average initial down payment for apartments, introduces a tiered down payment system in 2019, and provides for mortgage credit lines at a 3% annual interest rate for 20 years. The document assigns personal responsibility to regional heads and specific officials for timely construction, quality control, and the transparent allocation of housing, while also approving the main parameters of the program for 2018-2020.
