Measures for the Implementation of the Program for the Construction and Reconstruction of Affordable Multi-Storey Buildings in Cities for 2017-2020
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved the 2017-2020 program for constructing and reconstructing energy-efficient, affordable multi-storey buildings in cities, designating 5, 7, and 9-story complexes as a priority. The decree assigns specific roles to entities including 'Ipoteqa Bank' as the financier, 'Uzshahar Qurilish Invest' as the customer, and various ministries and local authorities for implementation, monitoring, and funding. It establishes mortgage credit terms with preferential rates for target groups such as young families and residents of dilapidated housing, and grants tax and customs exemptions to contractors, suppliers, and buyers involved in the program until specified dates in 2020 and 2021.
