AIFC Rules on Digital Asset Activities
The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) regulator has issued the AIFC Rules on Digital Asset Activities to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital asset operations. The current version, effective from 1 January 2026, incorporates amendments adopted on 7 December 2025 to govern licensing, compliance, and operational standards for market participants. This document supersedes previous iterations, including the V3 rules effective from 1 January 2025, to ensure updated oversight of the digital asset sector.
