Alabama Consumer Credit Act Requirements for Licensed Locations
The Alabama regulatory authority mandates that each licensed location under the Consumer Credit Act maintain a file containing a copy of the Act and all current regulations. This requirement ensures that licensees have immediate access to the governing statutory and regulatory texts. The rule was established under the authority of the Code of Alabama 1975 and became effective on October 1, 1997.
