The Central Bank of Jordan amends the 2011 medium-term advance program by extending loan terms to five years for industry, tourism, agriculture, and IT, and ten years for renewable energy. The amendment replaces the previous advance limit of 5% of direct credit facilities with sector-specific ceilings of 2 million Jordanian Dinars per client for most sectors and 4 million Dinars for renewable energy. Licensed banks must now provide financing to targeted sectors using their own funds before applying for Central Bank advances, which are credited within three working days of approval.
