Amending Circular 6/21 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular

AMENDING CIRCULAR 6/21 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETY CIRCULAR

(Provision 39.6.2.)

The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, based on what is provided in articles 366, fraction II, 372, fractions VI and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions, and

CONSIDERING

That article 389 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions states that Institutions and Mutual Societies, as well as other persons and entities subject to the inspection and supervision of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, must submit to it, in the form and terms established for this purpose through general provisions, the information and documentation required for regulation, supervision, control, inspection, supervision, statistics and other functions it is responsible for exercising.

That article 367 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions provides that the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, for the exercise of its powers, will have regional delegations which may carry out, within their geographical jurisdiction, the functions determined in their Internal Regulations.

That Provision 39.6.2. of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular establishes the hours, days of service and location of the Official Records Office of this Decentralized Body, as well as those of its Regional Delegations, so that Institutions, Mutual Societies and other persons and entities subject to its inspection and supervision can deliver the information required of them.

That on March 19, 2021, the "AGREEMENT of the Governing Board of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties by which the number, headquarters and territorial jurisdiction of the regional delegations of said Commission are defined" was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, by which the name of the Regional Delegations of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties was updated following the change of headquarters of the Regional Delegations in Monterrey and Veracruz.

That through Amending Circular 2/21 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 19, 2021, the addresses of the central offices and of the regional delegations of this Commission were made known, where the delivery of the information referred to in article 389 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions and other legal, regulatory and administrative provisions may be carried out.

That in Provision 39.6.2., fraction III, subsection d), the address of the Yucatán Regional Delegation was established, which was relocated in accordance with the principles of efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and economy, as well as to maintain the quality of service for the public user.

For the above reasons, this Commission has resolved to issue the following modification to the Single Insurance and Surety Circular in the terms specified below:

TRANSITORY

SINGLE.- This Amending Circular shall enter into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

The foregoing is made known to you based on what is provided in articles 366, fraction II; 372, fractions VI and XLII, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Surety Institutions.
