Amendments and Additions to the Instruction on Accounting in Microcredit Organizations

Microcredit organizations must maintain general and auxiliary books separately for each month, signed by the head and chief accountant, and submit cashier reports daily. Personal accounts must be opened for each borrower without delay from the next working day, with paper credit cards formalized for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. Foreign currency assets and liabilities must be revalued monthly according to the Central Bank rate, and client information must be stored for at least five years. These amendments replace the Instruction on Accounting in Microcredit Organizations approved by Decision No. 23/1 and become effective ten days after state registration.
