Amendments in Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Regulations

SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN * Islamabad, January 19, 2012 NOTIFICATION S.R.O. 50 (I)/2012.- In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 282B read with section 506A of the Companies Ordinance, 1984, (XLVII of
1984) and having being previously published in the official Gazette vide Notification
No. S.R.O.826(I)/2011, dated September 8, 2011 as required by sub-section (1) of
section 506A of the said Ordinance XLVII of 1984 the Securities and Exchange
Commission of Pakistan hereby makes the following amendments in the Real Estate Investment Trust Regulations, 2008, namely:- In the aforesaid Regulations, in Schedule V, in table “A”, for the existing row No. 2 and row No. 3 the following shall be substituted,- “Form II Application for licence to undertake or 750,000 carry out an activity or function. Form IV Application for renewal of licence to 750,000 carry out an activity or function.” [No: SCD/117/PR&D]
