Asset Management Companies Rating Criteria
VIS Credit Rating Company Limited has reviewed its Management Quality Rating methodology for asset management companies, maintaining the fundamental criteria from the January 2025 version while incorporating amendments that allow for the formation of Digital Asset Management Companies and Digital Funds. The updated criteria apply standard assessment principles to digital funds with the addition of cybersecurity strength in the IT platform as a key factor. The methodology evaluates asset management companies across six pillars: governance, financial condition and management, portfolio management activities, market position, performance track record, and investment administration, alongside client servicing.
