Subject: Tenure of MD/ CEO of Merchant Banker.

The undersigned is directed to inform you that the Commission has hereby withdrawn the letter No. BSEC/SRI/ MB/ Policy/ 2020/133 dated 30 January 2020 concerning the subject matter.

2. As such, the tenure of appointment or re-appointment of a Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer of a Merchant Banker is as per the provision of the বিধি ৩৭(৩) of the সিকিউরিটিজ ও এক্সচেঞ্জ কমিশন (মার্চেন্ট ব্যাংকার ও পোর্টফোলিও ম্যানেজার) বিধিমালা, ১৯৯৬.

3. Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA) is hereby requested to disseminate this letter to all Merchant Bankers.
