Bahamas Securities Commission Notice on Removal of Iraq Sanctions List Entries
Licensees and registrants of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas must remove two individuals, Ayad Futayih Khalifa Al-Rawi and Humam Abd-Al-Khaliq Abd-Al-Ghafur, from their internal lists of United Nations designated entities and individuals. This requirement follows the Security Council Committee's decision on 9 March 2023 to delete these entries from the UN Sanctions List under Resolution 1518 (2003). Regulated entities are further urged to regularly consult official UNSC websites to ensure continued compliance and accurate record-keeping.
