Rule · BCB · 1 Aug 2024 · Resolução BCB 404
This resolution amends Circular No. 3,862 to update the calculation of risk-weighted assets for credit risk exposures under the simplified standardized approach (RWARCSimp). It expands the list of exposures eligible for zero risk weight to include gold investments, FGI-guaranteed loans under the Emergency Credit Access Program (Peac), Pronampe loans contracted from January 1, 2021, and specific payment transaction credit rights. Additionally, it modifies the treatment of advances, guarantees, and post-payment instrument receivables, restricting the application of certain valuation rules to non-conglomerate institutions and Type 1 or Type 3 prudential conglomerates. The resolution enters into force on September 2, 2024.
