BCB NO. 548, OF FEBRUARY 19, 2026

Amends Table I – Public Authorization Acts with Risk Level III and Table II – Public Authorization Acts with Risk Levels I, contained in the annex to BCB Resolution No. 317, of April 27, 2023, which sets maximum deadlines for administrative decisions on requests for public authorization acts for economic activity submitted to the Central Bank of Brazil.

The Collegiate Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on February 19, 2026, based on Articles 3, paragraph 1, and 10 of Decree No. 10,178, of December 18, 2019,

R E S O L V E:

Art. 1. Table I – Public Authorization Acts with Risk Level III and Table II – Public Authorization Acts with Risk Levels I, contained in the annex to BCB Resolution No. 317, of April 27, 2023, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on May 2, 2023, shall enter into force in the form of the annex to this Resolution.

Sole Paragraph. The provisions of this Resolution apply to requests for authorization to operate virtual asset service providers filed with the Central Bank of Brazil from the entry into force of BCB Resolution No. 519, of November 10, 2025.

Art. 2. This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
