The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the purchase of up to 200 kilograms of gold bars from State Mining Enterprises for the 2017 fiscal year. It authorizes the Bank's Presidency and General Management to process an inter-institutional transfer of Bs 15,492,607.83 from the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance to cover the effective Value Added Tax rate on these gold purchases. This financial arrangement facilitates the issuance of Fiscal Credit Notes to settle the cost of 159.9 kilograms of gold sold by COMIBOL in June 2016 and the remaining authorized volume for the current period.
