BRPD Circular Letter No. 54: Signature of CEOs/Managing Directors of banks in the statements/reports for regular submission to the Central Bank
The document mandates that statements and reports submitted regularly to the Central Bank must bear the mandatory signature of the Chief Executive Officer or Managing Director, as required by the Bank Companies Act, 1991, and various prior circulars. For specific reports from the Statistics Department, the submission requires the signatures of two officials, including the CEO, or two officials including the second-highest ranking officer in the CEO's absence. Additionally, other statements and reports must be submitted with the signatures of two responsible officials in accordance with Section 36(3) of the Bangladesh Bank Order.
