BRPD Circular No. 12, Mapping of External Credit Assessment Institutions' (ECAIs)
Alpha Credit Rating Limited (ACRL) is recognized as an eligible External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI) in addition to five existing rating agencies. All scheduled banks in Bangladesh may nominate ACRL for calculating Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) against credit risk under the Risk Based Capital Adequacy (RBCA) guidelines. The circular provides the mapping of ACRL's long-term and short-term rating scales to Bangladesh Bank's rating grades.
